Chair Re-do

My blog is turning into a bargain bragging session. But I just have to share the little make-over our dining room got this week for under $20.

30 Hours of Bliss...

Seth and I celebrated our anniversary(#7) this last weekend. It wasn't exactly our anniversary but we were silly and in love and got married on mother's day weekend so we seldom celebrate on our actually anniversary date. We normally just go out to dinner and splurge by going to see a movie but this year we made BIG plans.

My amazing friend Kelli offered to take the kids over night on Friday so we "went all out."

My Assumptions

For those who were wondering. Here are MY explinations for the past two posts.

Luc bit threw his lip. Thus all the blood. I think he probably bonked his chin on the cart causing him to bit his lip. It was nasty. Should have taken a picture but at the moment I wasn't feeling like whipping out the camera.

As for my martini glass... McKay's explanation was that it's my "special" drink that I get when I get to go on dates with Seth. My assumption is that she has watched Enchanted one too many times. That's the only thing I can think of where she has seen a martini and they do talk about being on date during that scene. I do not nor have I ever drank a martini.

Day 4

It's day 4 of spring break and it has been much better than I expected. I think I was preparing myself for it to be really hard and stressful and so far it hasn't been TOO bad. That being said I have to share the pictures McKay drew for me yesterday. She said there was one for each of us and it was a picture of something that had to do with us. So here they are.

Wearing a onesie and a bib and the bottle has numbers for ounces... so cute. He doesn't wear onesies or bibs or drink out a bottle anymore but still cute.

Apparently Kimball just likes big black flowers.

McKay of course wearing a dress and looking "stylish" as she would say.

Dad got the already used piece of paper and a football. Appropriate.
